Nathan D. Pastor, Esq.

Nathan has a Masters of Law in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law and is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law. He is an active member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, East Bay Trusts & Estates Lawyers, and the Robert G. McGrath American Inns of Court.  He is a delegate at the Conference of California Bar Associations (CCBA) in Trusts and Estates for the East Bay Trusts and Estates Lawyers. Nathan was selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in Trust and Estate litigation for seven consecutive years from 2018 through 2024, an exclusive award given only to the top 2% of attorneys in Northern California.

As a graduate of University of California, Berkeley, Nathan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in English. He went on to earn his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law. After law school Nathan earned an LL.M. in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law at Golden Gate University School of Law. During law school Nathan worked for the Contra Costa County Probate Court, developing an in-depth knowledge of the probate court system and Judges.  Prior to opening Pastor Law Group, PC, Nathan gained extensive experience as a top litigator in one of Contra Costa’s largest Trust and Estate law firms.

Nathan is a member of the Contra Costa County Criminal Conflict Program and is routinely appointed by the court as counsel for proposed conservatees. He represents clients throughout the litigation process beginning with pre-litigation planning and discovery through trial, appeal, or settlement. He has experience in all areas of alternative dispute resolution and has successfully tried cases and prosecuted appeals. Nathan handles matters both big and small.

Nathan argued and won an appeal stemming from a trust contest at the California Supreme Court (See Barefoot v. Jennings; California Supreme Court Case No. S251574). All seven California Supreme Court justices heard the appeal and Nathan won by unanimous decision. The appeal was of statewide concern and garnered many headlines. Nathan has served in an editorial role for UCLA’s Continuing Education of the Bar for the following chapters: Healthcare Decision Planning, Bypass and Disclaimer Trusts, Marital Deduction Formulas and Funding, Survivor’s Trusts, and Drafting Revocable Trusts.

Noe-Marie F. Claraty, Esq.

Noe-Marie Claraty is an Associate Attorney with the Pastor Law Group, PC.  She handles Trust and Estate Litigation, Conservatorships, and Estate Planning. 

Noe-Marie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.  During college she volunteered in the San Quentin State Prison system where she acted as a mentor at the Prison University Project Program and San Quentin Radio.  After graduating from Berkeley Noe-Marie worked in radio at Cumulus Media, Inc.  She held various roles including on-air work, news writing, and as a producer of talk radio for stations such as KGO Radio, KSFO, 107.7 "The Bone," and KFOG.  After leaving Cumulus Media, Inc. Noe-Marie earned her Juris Doctor from University of California, Hastings College of Law (now known as University of California, San Francisco College of the Law). 

Loretta Fillipi, Esq.

Loretta Filippi is an attorney at Pastor Law Group, PC. She works on Trust and Estate Litigation, Conservatorships, and Estate Planning. 

Loretta received her Bachelor of Arts in History with a focus on Medieval History at the University of California, Berkeley. Loretta earned her Juris Doctor from University of California, Hastings College of Law. During Law School, Loretta worked in both the Immigrant’s Rights Clinic and the Lawyering for Children Clinic and participated in the Public Law and Policy Workgroup. Previously, Loretta has worked in the areas of public policy, reproductive rights, legal research, and healthcare law.


Guy Noyes, Esq.

Guy Noyes is an attorney at Pastor Law Group, PC. He works on Trust and Estate Litigation, Conservatorships, and financial elder abuse litigation. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Reed College and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from University of San Francisco School of Law. Before joining Pastor Law Group, PC Guy practiced in the areas of privacy, IP, contracts, and immigration.




Yasanni Martinez

Yasanni Martinez is a paralegal at Pastor Law Group, PC and supports the firm in all phases of trust and estate administration and litigation. She attended the University of San Francisco where she took courses in International Studies and worked at the Irish Consulate. She also studied Nutrition Sciences at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where she worked at a compounding pharmacy. Prior to joining Pastor Law Group, PC she worked as an Escrow Coordinator at Richmond First American.
